Examples of Dashboard Lights to Be Watching For

Oil Can – Whenever you see what looks like an oil can with a drop of oil plopping out of it, this is usually an indication that you have low oil pressure. This could mean your vehicle is running low on oil and needs to be topped off or fully replaced. Alternatively, this could mean you have an issue such as a leak that needs to be brought to our Service Center immediately for repair.

Battery – Much like the oil can, seeing a picture of a battery appear can likely mean one of several things. Possible causes for the light appearing could range from an alternator issue to potential wiring flaws. It will also appear if you are trying to start your Dodge and not getting any ignition.

Engine – When you see an engine appear on your dashboard, the possible causes are numerous. To be safe, we advise bringing your Dodge in for an emergency service appointment as soon as you see this light appear. It could be something as simple as a loose gas cap that needs to be addressed, but it could also be a precursor of a significant problem happening with the engine itself.
